Hello Friends. I trust that all of our homeschoolers and students are well. As we continue to fill our days with the best reading, writing, and drawing adventures, I thought I’d share this one with you; “Don’t Let Auntie Mabel Bless the Table”. This tale was written and illustrated by Vanessa Brantley Newton. Auntie Mabel is what we like to call a prayer warrior. In the moment, everyone might not always appreciate the thoroughness of auntie Mabel’s prayers, but there is no one dearer, and no supplication sweeter. There are a few read aloud versions of this story, of course I’d encourage you to listen to Vanessa Brantley Newton read her own story. You can access this story via YouTube Kid lit TV.
